I have loved music from a young age, and I always dreamed of playing flute on my church’s worship team. I am also greatly interested in language and meaning, which led me to study English, Linguistics, and Korean and become an English as a Second Language teacher. Both of these passions came together in perfect harmony when I became a member of the Alabaster Jar worship team at Harvesters Church, where services are in both English and Korean. Serving on the worship team is both the hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever done, as I am constantly realizing how broken I am and offering my brokenness up to God, but most of all I am beyond blessed and honored to worship with so many beautiful brothers and sisters in Christ.

저는 어릴 때부터 음악을 사랑했고, 교회 예배 팀에서 플루트 연주를 하게되기를 항상 꿈꿨습니다. 또한 언어와 의미에 관심이 많아서 영어, 언어학, 한국어를 공부하고 제 2의 외국어 교사로서의 영어 교사가 되었습니다. 전 한국어와 영어로 예배를 드리는 하비스터스교회에서 Alabaster Jar 예배 팀의 일원이되었을 때에 이 두 가지 열정이 완벽하게 조화되는것을 봤습니다. 예배 팀에서 섬기는 일은 제가 지금까지 해온 일들 중 가장 힘들지만 보람있는 일입니다. 왜냐하면 이 일을 통해 나의 연약함을 끊임없이 깨닫게 되었고 또 저의 부족한 예배를 하나님께 올려드리고 있기때문입니다. 하지만 저는 그리스도 안에서 아름다운 형제 자매들과 함께 예배 할 수있는것을 축복과 영광으로 여깁니다.
