I have played this simple yet beautiful song with my worship team many times over the past few years, but we never played the third verse because it had not been translated into Korean. It is good to desire God and to value Him above all else, but our relationship with Christ—our friend, brother, and king—is equally important. I want the last line of the third verse to be my heart’s cry throughout my life: “I want You more than any other, so much more than anything!”

저는 지난 몇 년 동안 예배 팀과 함께이 단순하면서도 아름다운 노래를 여러 번 연주했지만 한국어로 번역 되지 않은 3절때문에 언제나 3절은 부르지 않았습니다. 하나님을 소망하고 그 무엇보다도 그분을 소중히 여기는 것도 좋지만 우리의 친구, 형제, 왕이신 그리스도와의 관계도 똑같이 중요합니다. 세 번째 구절의 마지막 줄이 평생 제 마음의 외침이 되기를 바랍니다: “이 세상의 무엇보다도 주를 사랑합니다!”
